A Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position

We invite applications for an Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2006. We are seeking a new colleague who has a curricular focus in the area of research with a substantive interest in mental health practice, policy, and/or research. An MSW degree and at least two years of post-MSW practice experience is required, as is the completion of a doctorate in social work or a related social science discipline by Fall 2006.

The School also has several collaborative endeavors with agencies that provide clinical social work services, field placements for students, and research and practice connections for faculty. The School has affiliations with over 800 social work agencies in Michigan that provide service and outreach opportunities for faculty.

Candidates should submit a letter that outlines areas of practice experience, research and teaching interests, a vita and a sample of written scholarly work.
