Description

Barrington social service agency is seeking an experienced social worker or clinical professional counselor to perform the following responsibilities:

 

Develop, promote, execute and evaluate prevention programs and workshops for the Spanish speaking community.

 

Provide clinical services to youth and families, including individual, family, marital, play and group counseling in Spanish.

 

Offer supervision to graduate level student interns in English.

 

 

Credentials/Experience

LCSW/LCPC preferred, with two years clinical experience. Prevention program, supervisory and drug/alcohol experience preferred  

·     Fluency in Spanish required

 

 

Salary:

Salary ommensurate with experience. between $40,000.00 to 55,000

seeks several bilingual case managers for various programs. Catholic Charities isa multi-service organization which provides social services to individuals and families in both Cook and Lake Counties. Consider joining an established organization and share the mission of “compassion in action”.

The following positions are currently open.

 

Behavioral Health Specialist

Responsibilities: Provide immediate assessment and referral of incoming clients calls for counseling services phone or in-person (walk-ins). Ability to assess need for mental health services, including level of severity suicide/homicide risk, level of intervention needed and match to appropriate level of care and service provider. Knowledge of crisis intervention. Knowledge of multiple payor and provider systems.

Preferred requirements: LCSW or LCSW eligible. 5 years in mental health/behavioral health services. Must be computer literate and familiar with MS software. Must have crisis intervention and mental health experience.

Minimum requirements: MSW or MA in behavioral health or directly related services or 8 years in behavioral health or directly related services.

Clinical Services Specialist

Responsibilities: Provides a professional level of counseling, case management and supportive services to individuals, children adults, and families. Selects appropriate therapeutic modalities and interventions to assist clients to define problems and formulate and implement treatment goals.
